Make your visit extra special
with a personal owl or animal experience
Owl Experiences
One of our keepers will spend this special session with you as you as you learn how to hold some of our owls on the glove. A unique and memorable experience that can be shared by two people (it is exclusive to the people who have booked). Participants must be 11 years old or over.
30 minute Owl Experience: £50.00
Animal Experiences
One of our keepers will spend the session with you taking you into the animal's enclosure and giving you the opportunity to interact with these amazing animals and learn more about them. A truly unique and memorable opportunity for young and old alike.
Wallaby Experience
All ages welcome, under 16yrs must be accompanied by a paying person over 16yrs, under 3yrs free.
£25 for one person, £35 for two people, £45 per group (max 6 people)
Meerkat or Fox or Lemur Experience
Participants must be 4 years old or over and under 16yrs must be accompanied by a by a paying person over 16yrs.
£45 for one person, £75 for two people, £95 per group (max 6 people)
Length of Experiences – 20 minutes
These sessions are popular, during busy periods we may not be able to accommodate experiences that are not booked in advance. If you would like to be assured of a session during your visit, please call us on 01726 860182 to book a place.
Unfortunately being Zoo licensed we are not able to allow dogs (except assistance dogs) into the Sanctuary.
How to find us
Screech Owl Sanctuary & Animal Park is located near Indian Queens in mid Cornwall, just off the A30
If travelling by public transport you can catch a bus to Indian Queens Industrial Estate or the village which is a mile away. The railway station branchline from Newquay to Par is situated just over 2 miles away.
Please be aware if you are using a satnav that even the newest maps have not been updated since the A30 dual carriageway, and will take you to a dead end road, so follow the brown and white signs at the Newquay junction off the A30 not the Victoria junction.
