All activities of the Sanctuary are financed entirely through the revenue generated by visitors and the amazing generosity of you our supporters.

Funds raised are used to support a wide range of activities including the aviary replacement programme, animal enrichment, animal enclosure improvements and enable us to continue the overall work of the Sanctuary to meet our aims of rehabilitation, education, conservation, research, community and environment.

Annual Membership

Membership of the Sanctuary provides the following benefits

Adoption 

If you currently support the Sanctuary through adopting or sponsoring an owl and wish to continue then please either email the Sanctuary on screechsanctuary@gmail.com or call to discuss your renewal.

Do you have a special connection with a particular owl, have you fallen in love with one of our animals then choose an adoption package. An adoption package can be purchased for yourself or as a gift. Adoption of an owl last for a year. You will receive a certificate of your chosen owl or animal and periodic newsletters to give you up to date with the progress of the Sanctuary. We recommend a donation of £10 as a minimum to cover the administration costs, though other options are available.

When you purchase an adoption online please send us an email on screechsanctuary@gmail.com with the persons name you would like on the certificate and which owl or animal you would like to adopt. We will never pass your details onto a third party.

Animal Encounters

Why not treat yourself or someone special to one of our amazing animal encounter for a memorable gift.

They are the perfect present, support our conservation work and could spark a lifelong interest in wildlife.

Owl Encounters

Our personal encounter sessions, with our experienced staff, offer you the opportunity to hold different kinds of owls on the glove while learning about their behaviours and lives in the wild - a unique and memorable experience.  Participants must 11 years old or over. To book an owl encounter please call the Sanctuary on 01726 860182. The office is open daily between 10am and 4pm.

The session can be shared by two people (it is exclusive to the people who have booked).  These gift vouchers for a handling session do not include admission to the Sanctuary and are valid for a year from purchase.

Owl Encounter (30 minutes):  £45.00

When you buy an Owl Encounter online please email us on screechsanctuary@gmail.com, with the name you would like on the gift certificate and we will email you an E-voucher.
